This video happened one night just as I got home and sat down to eat. As I looked out the window I saw this bear getting into the bird feeders. We usually have two bears in the spring and this is a small bear that has been around for a few weeks. He will get into the dog food if we feed the dog in the evening. We have to feed the dog in the morning and keep anything picked up and stored away. We have to take our garbage to the dump more often or they will get into that too. One year I was storing the dog food outside in a metal 3 gal can and a bear came and took the whole thing to the next ridge and smashed it to get it open. I have never seen them go for the bird feeders. And after this video was taken the bear came back and finally tore up the feeders. I now have a motion sensor alarm to drive them away from the feeders.
