Back                                                            Trip to Texas

    Left Ellijay on a Saturday morning and headed up to Chattanooga. I had gone just 30 miles and had a car try to run me into the median in Chatsworth Georgia. This kind of put me on guard the rest of the day. After that first day things seemed to go a lot better after getting some miles put away. After going through part of Tennessee and then Alabama I stopped for the night in a motel and did the same for the next two nights and then camped after that. The only rain I had were a few very small showers that I didn't even have to suit up for. But when I pulled into Texarkana it looked like it was going to make up for the good weather I was having. I stopped at the Texas boarder and suited up but after riding for about an hour I was able to side step the storm. One other place that I stayed at on the way back was a place called 29 Dreams Motorcycle Resort. This was one of the highlights of the trip and I'll have to go back there again. The bike did good and the only thing that needs to be worked on is the seat. The best addition was the electronic cruise control and the Cee Bailey windshield. I spent 6 days on the trip and did 1745 miles and this was my first trip on the bike.
